Museveni is believed to have been born on 15 September 1944 to parents Mzee Amos Kaguta, a cattle herder, and Esteri Kokundeka Nganzi who hails from Rukungiri.
The birthday festivities, as per the organizers’ announcement, will be conducted under the theme; “Fostering an Entrepreneurial Culture among Youths, Women, and Communities.”
As understood by Swift Daily News, the birthday celebration will be held in tandem with the grand launch of the “#OmalakoJajja, #TovaKuMain2026” campaign. Since the onset of this year, the ONC office, under the firm leadership of Hajjat Hadija Namyalo, has orchestrated several launches across the nation.
